Sunday, 10am Family Communion
(Every Sunday but no Sunday School on the 1st Sunday of the month)
This is our main Sunday service and we try to provide something for everyone! The congregation includes people of all backgrounds and ages including small children, young families and older adults. The service combines traditional hymns and contemporary songs led by our worship group.
Children aged 4+ enjoy age-appropriate activities in our weekly Sunday School before they are welcomed back for communion.
Toddlers and babies can play with toys and books in our Children’s area in church or have a wander! We are very relaxed and want children to feel at home.
The service usually finishes around 11am and everyone is welcome to stay for refreshments afterwards.
Sunday, 4pm Together@4
(1st Sunday of the month in Church House)
This is a time to look at faith and life, relax with a cuppa, chat and pray. There will be activities for children and sandwiches and cake afterwards. We usually finish by 5pm.
This is St Peter’s new venture and people tell us they like it. We would love to see you there!
Sunday 7pm Refresh
(2nd Sunday of the month)
This is a relaxed informal service and combines modern worship songs, prayer and teaching. We want to provide a space for everyone to explore faith and meet with God in their own way. We have guest speakers and teaching from our own team, plus prayer for those who want it afterwards.
Refresh usually finished around 8.30pm and everyone is welcome to stay for refreshments. For more information on the current series click here.
Sunday 8am Book of Common Prayer Communion service
This is our traditional service with one hymn, a sermon and time for quiet reflection. In winter the service is held in the Lady Chapel. It usually lasts around 45 minutes.
We also hold a short Book of Common Prayer Communion Service on alternate Wednesdays at 9am.
